unexpected behavior when trying to add item with quantity greater than stock level.

I have an item with Stock level of 2 items.

When I try to add more than quantity of 2 ( 3 ), it shows that the item was added to cart, but the cart stays empty, instead of showing an error message that the quantity requested is not available or allow only to add the quantity in stock.

The site is still in dev, so I can’t show you a demo, but the issue is reproducible in the kalolia demo site.
