Trouble transfering from localhost to hosted server

Hello,

I been trying to transfer the website from my localhost to my hosted server but have not been successful. I have read many online tutorials and followed all the steps but I still can not get the website to work. Can you please help me with this? I can create an ftp login to the server is you wish. I been trying to get this done for a over a week. I have transferred all the files to the server along with the database.
