Problem with Newest Version 1.4

Hello

I have installed the complete Package. But all fields are empty. Header = Welcome Url empty. Static Block all fields empty….. All settings are empty

Then i tried to install only Prestashop with 1.0.6.14 and the theme files only. i can´t see the latest blog. The slider text moves outside to the visible area.

What should i do? now. Should i install the package but i can´t update on 1.0.6.14 because then also the slider does not longer work properly. And other settings.
