Brand filtering extension

I installed shop by brand extension as follows.
http://vncosy.com/extension/shop-by-brands/
And it works well.
I realized the url it creates can be set your brand slider.
So I set your brand slider link area.
But no matter which option of “target” I select, a new page open and the url is “about:blank”.
How can I set target option?
I don’t want to open new page for brand filtering page.
