Updating & hiding areas on Home Page 1 layout

I’m using the static home page theme option Home Page 1 and would like to know how I can hide / remove the areas such as ‘suggested collection’, the three boxes under that section and also the ‘latest posts’ section.
How also do you update the images to the top right of the home page.
The image attached shows the areas I want to delete / hide in red, and the areas I want to edit / update in green.
