Translations

Hello everyone,
these days I tried to translate our shop to german. Most parts are really easy via InlineTranslation. But for some texts are no Inline-Option.
Actually I’ve found some parts in the .phtml-files. But there are still some missing like

Searchbutton
Value, Quality, Price (in product/review)
infotext and Button when a product is put in cart , wishlist or comparelist (JavaScript?)

Is there a documentation for translating?
