Transactional Emails Not Being Sent

Hello,

When a customer places an order the order confirmation email is not being sent (to either the customer or admin).

I’m using Magento C.E. 1.9.1.0 and SNS Nova.

I changed the Theme and Package to Magento defaults and the order confirmation e-mails are still not being sent (to customer or admin).

Please advise on how to resolve this issue.
