theming of dropdown menu for navigation structure not ok

Hi,

When changing the top menu to “navigation menu items only”, the categories included with the quickstart installation show up.
Categories configured with a custom block display instead of navigation items seem to show quite OK, but the categories that just display their subcategories have broken layout (see screenshot) – ugly bullets show out of the boundaries of the dropdown box.

Any idea on how to fix this?
