Tabs Not Laid Out Correctly On Mobiles Devices

On some mobile devices the Tabs are not displayed correctly. On iPhone 5 or smaller its correct. See Screenshot. On 6 and above the active tab is BELOW the tab drops down and overlays the description text. I had reinserted a top merging in the enclosing div for the tab contents to push the text down but thats a kludge. See other screen show with active tab and the dropdown overlaying each other.
