odd icon display on google android and safari

My customer uses inspectlet and I have attached a screenshots of the issue.

What is happening is the icons are not being display correctly on various mobile devices.

Browser chrome android and Safari 11.0 on iPhone

Instead of getting star symbols they are showing an S in its place and the next and previous arrows on the slider are showing weird default symbols.
