menu and sub menu items

Is it possible to add in left menu in home page (the black one) a category
voice with a sub-category voice (that will appear in another box) and in the
third level sub-sub-category (another box) make appear a block with text and
images (like the custom block I can create in Categories->item->Simo
Menu->Block Right or Block Top or Block Bottom)?
