Fedex shipping method not working

I’m having an issue with getting Fedex shipping configured with this theme. I have all the credentials needed from Fedex for the shipping configuration.. although once I select Fedex shipping from the admin panel and enter in credentials.. during the checkout process.. I cannot get past checkout step #2 (Shipping information). When I press continue to move onto step #3 (Shipping method) it simply does not move forward, and stays glitched at Step #2. I have 2 other shipping options configured (Local pickup & Local delivery), if I remove the fedex shipping option, then the checkout process will take me to step #3 and give me those 2 shipping options (Local Pickup & Local Delivery). Though whenever I try to implement the Fedex shipping I seem to be having a problem.
