Custom options not shown backend

Hello,

When we add custom options to a Product in Kanta theme, these are shown frontend, but a few issues appear:

1. When selection of an option is mandatory (*), and an option is selected, adding a product with an option to the cart does not work. Browser notifies: “please select an option”.

2. When temporarily set to not mandatory, the selected option (e.g. color) is not shown in the shopping cart

3. When the order is completed, the selected option cannot be found in the order backend.

Please let know how to approach and resolve. Thanks in advance!
