I’m attaching a pdf that I hope to help you understand the problem. I thought that the problem was given by the magnifier, but if you have disabled it i do not know what could be the problem.
you can try the problem also with chrome developer tool in mobile version ( i choose nexus 5 simulator), when you stay on image you can not move anymore.
