I need to translate the menu in top right (that with “Language”, “Currency” and “My account”) because they aren’t translatable using Magento Inline Translation. How can I do?

In addition, for the first few months my store will be only in Italian and with only euro prices, therefore now I would like to hide the items “Language” and “Currency”. How can I do?
